Evening and weekend appointments
From 1st October 2022, patients registered with this practice will now be able to book appointments between 6:30 and 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. This is in addition to the core practice hours of 8am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
At this practice, we have chosen to use the additional appointments for a combination of routine appointments and clinics, health checks, vaccinations, specialist clinics and urgent appointments.
Booking appointments
The appointments will be provided by a range of health professionals in the practice team appropriate to the individual clinic and supported by a GP at all times.
When you contact the practice, the reception team will ask you for details about the health problem you need help with or why you need an appointment. Please don’t be offended. It is important that you tell them so they can book your appointment with the most appropriate member of the practice team. They have been trained to do this.
Appointments can be booked over the telephone or by visiting the practice in person during our normal working hours 08:00 – 18:30 Monday to Friday
Online appointments can be made at any time either through the NHS app, if you have registered for online services.You can also amend or cancel appointments in the same way. You can find details of how to register for online appointments here https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com/
If you have let us know your mobile number, you will receive a confirmation of your appointment by text message.
Certain clinics may only be available to patients by invitation only, for example cervical screening and health checks.
Location of appointments
This practice belongs to a group of practices known as a primary care network, along with Bridge Street, Woodbrook, Pinfold, Park view, Roseberry. Our family of practices will be working together to provide these appointments for you, so you may find your appointment takes place at one of the other practices. We will let you know if this is the case.
Regardless of whether you are seen at your own GP practice or at another practice your medical records will be updated.
